"Hotel Crockett on left - Refinery office and viaduct in left foreground. Loring Avenue running across picture with Crolona Heights and the company homes on the hill Flagpole shows at top. Rithet Park , named after Robert Peters Rithet, connected with Hawaiian interests that started the mill . The park lies between Loring and Winslow Streets and between the Park View Hotel and the Crolona Furniture Store. The first park in Crockett, put in by C & hand dedicated in 1912."
