Please note: This is only a small list featuring most of our 19th century obituaries. For modern obituaries, please drop us an e-mail with the name of the deceased and we will check our files. We clip obituaries every day and will do our best to locate what you need. Please include an approximate date of death if at all possible.

The majority of obituaries listed here appeared in the Contra Costa Gazette, published in Martinez, California. They cover a period from about 1855 to 1920.
